Emma Fackelmann, MA, RP - Clinical Associate

Clinical Focus

Emma is a respectful, compassionate, and down-to-earth registered psychotherapist (RP) with the CRPO and completed her training working as a student clinician at Medical Psychotherapy under the supervision of Sean Robb (Ph.D., C.Psych., RP). Over the last 10 years, she has supported diverse populations across Ontario on their mental health journey by extending a warm, collaborative, nonjudgmental environment that promotes growth, healing, and learning. She has supported individuals, ages 16-65, who resiliently work through various challenges such as complex trauma, chronic pain, brain injury, mood disorders, personality disorders, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

Emma’s therapy style is an integrated mix of multiple therapeutic approaches and research-backed interventions within a trauma-informed framework. She is especially interested in the frameworks of Humanistic, Person-centred, Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Somatic Therapy, and Positive Psychology, to name a few. Emma is passionate about continued education and increasing skillsets to do what it takes to meet the unique needs of those she helps and enhance overall well-being
