PROSPECTIVE Clinical Practicum Students

Clinical Practicum Information

What this Practicum Site Offers:

Completing your clinical practicum at Medical Psychotherapy offers a unique training opportunity to learn how to effectively integrate modern neuroscience and neuropsychology into the practice of psychotherapy.  Our practice provides care for persons living with complex and often chronic mental health challenges, many of which had not had success with previous therapies. Our approach is typically eclectic, integrating strategies from multiple modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, PE, CPT, etc.) to meet the needs of our clients.

Students can complete their practicum from the comfort of their home. Clinical supervision  is provided in the form of both individual and group supervision, as well as on-call access to clinical supervisors.

Requirements:

- Criminal record check (with vulnerable sectors)

- BA in psychology (preferred)
