Lara is a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She completed her clinical practicum with Medical Psychotherapy under the supervision of Sean Robb (Ph.D., RP) and currently facilitates peer- supervision in the student clinic. Lara’s clinical experience includes providing individual weekly psychotherapy sessions supporting clients facing challenges with symptoms of ADHD, BPD, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, and mental health concerns associated with brain injury and chronic pain. Lara also co-facilitates a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills group and a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Adult ADHD group. She utilizes her training in various therapeutic models to provide a warm, non-judgmental, and encouraging integrative approach. Lara's professional background includes experience in various fields such as volunteering as a crisis responder for Distress Centres Greater Toronto, community-based development, immigration law, and research and program evaluation in clinical trial network studies as a research associate with Colorado Social Research Associates.
