Melissa Felice, MA, RP

Clinical Approach and Philosophy

Melissa is a Registered Psychotherapist who believes that meaningful therapy begins with a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly heard and accepted. She works with teens, adults, and older adults, supporting them through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and chronic pain.

Melissa’s approach is warm and collaborative. She draws on evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She works from a person-centred, attachment-informed lens and seeks to understand how experiences like marginalization, discrimination, and systemic barriers impact the individuals she works with. She aims to create a space where every part of a person’s identity is welcomed and respected.

She has experience working with neurodiverse individuals and those living with neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD. In addition to psychotherapy, Melissa is a trained psychometrist, providing psychometric assessments that inform diagnosis, guide treatment planning, and offer valuable personal insight.
