Megan has worked in the field of mental health for over 14 years. Her background as a Recreation Therapist is foundational to her practice as it focuses on the therapeutic benefits of leisure, capacity building, and strengths-based approaches to wellness. Megan utilizes a holistic and integrative approach to therapy that combines techniques from various psychotherapy modalities to best serve the needs of the individual. She is particularly interested in Positive Psychology, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and ACT. Megan aims to help empower individuals in their journey to self-healing through skills-building, self-education, and compassionate understanding.
Megan is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as a Registered Psychotherapist. She completed her clinical practicum with Medical Psychotherapy under the supervision of Sean Robb (Ph.D., RP), supporting individuals with varying mental health needs.
